This site has a secret that’s been tucked away underground for over 4 million years. Get a first-hand look at the late Miocene Period – a time when the area was home to rhinos, tapirs, saber-toothed cats, alligators, shovel-tusked elephants, and red pandas. The site contains the world’s richest deposit of fossilized tapirs.
