The Niswonger Performing Arts Center (NPAC) is a regional performing arts center located in historic downtown Greeneville, TN, adjacent to Greeneville High School.
Since opening in December 2004, NPAC has hosted hundreds of concerts and events in a modern venue with over 1100 seats.
During the past year NPAC has increasingly become recognized nationally as a leading regional venue in the entertainment industry with a solid management team and active Board of Directors.
NPAC serves as a venue for entertainment events and arts education in a region encompassing East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina.
Through the generosity of our contributors and private/public grants, NPAC, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, will continue to grow. That financial support to NPAC, and its programs, is invaluable to our success.
The current season line-up at NPAC features 30 performing artists and theatrical productions including touring stage performances of A Christmas Carol and The Fantasticks, international entertainment such as the London based Swingle Singers and Moscow Festival Ballet, and great musical artists such as REO Speedwagon and Kellie Pickler, this season’s winner of “Dancing with the Stars” on the ABC television network.
NPAC strives to offer affordable ticket pricing while presenting an outstanding selection of entertainment options. Individual ticket prices range from $15 to $65 depending on the performance and seating location.
Over 50% of guests visiting NPAC are from outside Greene County, and of those over 70% are first-time guests. The venue provides a significant economic impact to Greene County and the region.
Guests have visited NPAC this season from 15 states. Those are Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Mississippi, and Ohio.
