1940s USO Show

The Jonesborough Repertory Theatre’s annual 1940s USO Show is here during Jonesborough Days one more time! Styled in the format of a 1940s radio broadcast, the 1940s USO is full of vintage hits and comedic skits, all in the style of the old Bob Hope USO shows during WWII. The show is filled with dancing and songs from Bing Crosby, the Andrews Sisters, and other popular singers of that day. This show is performed in honor of all the veterans past and present, who have provided us with the kind of freedom that allows us to create shows like this. After this summer’s 1940s USO Show, the annual production will be moving to Christmastime in 2017.
Tickets are $16 general admission, $14 for students and seniors. To purchase tickets, call the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center at (423)753-1010 or go online at www.jonesboroughtheatre.com. Season passes are also available.
The Jonesborough Repertory Theatre is located at 125½ West Main Street in Jonesborough, TN, next to the Historic Eureka Inn.
