4th of July Boat Parade

Join us for the 19th Annual 4th of July Boat Parade on Beautiful Watauga Lake on Thursday July 4th at 2 pm. We’re looking for the most patriotically decorated boats! We have a panel of judges that are completely unbiased and they pick the winners.

Runner Up Houseboat $100 Gas Prize
Best Decorated Pontoon $200 Gas Prize
Runner Up Pontoon $100 Gas Prize
Best Decorated Runabout/Cruiser $200 Gas Prize
Judging will be held at the Watauga Dam BEFORE the parade begins. Be at the dam at 1:30 to be included in the competition. After the judging is over, and prizes are given out, the parade will begin. The Grand Marshall is Gary Davis. He will lead the parade and be escorted by TWRA. For safety reasons, all houseboats will go first, then large cruisers, and lastly runabouts and pontoon boats
