Hometown Heroes Celebration

Join us for a festival celebrating military and first responders! The event is free and open to the public.
We will have a food truck junction 12-7 PM

Cookie Decorating with Heroes- The Mall at Johnson CIty 12 – 2 PM in JCPenney Court
Inflatables 12 – 6 PM
Face painting 12 -7 PM
Balloon Twisting by Paul The Unpoppable from 2 – 6 PM
Swearing in of new Army Recruits
Stuff a Cop Car 12 – 7 PM.
Bring a brand new stuffed animal and let’s see how many we can fit in the cruiser! These stuffed animals will be given out on local 911 response calls with children present. Those who donate receive a coupon for Build-a-Bear
The police will have their remote substation set up for Identikid. Parents can have their child’s fingerprints take and an identification card made for free.
The event will wrap up with a free concert sponsored by WXBQ.
