“A Day of Dance – An English Country Dance Workshop” at Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park
on Saturday, October 26th from 9 am til 4 pm.
Dance was a very popular social pastime during the early 19th century. This workshop is planned for beginners and intermediate level dancers and you make take 1 or both sessions presented by our guest instructors, Emily and Marie Smith!
There will be two sessions offered at a cost of $6.00 per class. From 9 am – Noon dances taught will be at the Basic Beginner Level and from 1 pm – 4 pm – dances will be taught at the Intermediate Level. You may elect to attend one class or join us for the entire day! If you pre-register for both classes, the cost will be $10.00. Refreshments will be offered throughout the day.
