Allandale Mansion: Holiday Tea

December 19, 2024 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Enjoy an afternoon of Holiday Tea at Allandale Mansion

Allandale Mansion is bringing back its popular Holiday Tea event just in time for the Christmas season.

This year, the event will be held at two different times on December 19 – from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and then from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Tickets are $25 and advance registration is required. The event is recommended for ages 6-12 and guests are encouraged to wear their best holiday outfit.

During the event, guests will enjoy a light snack, a glass of fruit “tea,” participate in a scavenger hunt, make an ornament to take home and have photo opportunities with beautiful Christmas decorations.

An adult must remain with the child during the event. There is no ticket charge for the accompanying adult, but they will not receive a snack nor do a craft.

To register, visit https://bit.ly/3BT28FD. You can also register by clicking on the CivicRec link in the Connect Kingsport app or go to www.kingsporttn.gov and click on “CivicRec,” then search for “holiday tea” in the search bar.

About the City of Kingsport

Founded in 1917, the City of Kingsport (pop. 55,400) is located on the Tennessee-Virginia border at the crossroads of I-81 and I-26 near the geographic center of the eastern United States. The city is widely known as a planned community, designed by renowned city planner John Nolen and wrapping around the foot of Bays Mountain – a 3,750-acre park, nature preserve, planetarium and observatory. Kingsport is recognized as an International Safe Community by the National Safety Council, a Healthier Tennessee community, and won the 2009 Harvard Innovations in American Government Award for its higher education initiatives. While many city names are duplicated throughout the U.S., there’s only one Kingsport – a fact that invokes community pride, known locally as the “Kingsport Spirit.” For more information, please visit www.kingsporttn.gov.
