SUMMARY:Allandale Mansion: Summer Concert Series
DESCRIPTION:Time to pack a cooler\, grab a chair and bring a friend to the summer concert series returning to Allandale Mansion next month. \nAugust Under the Stars – a free summer concert series – is set to begin on Aug. 4\, showcasing some of the best regional bands performing across the South. \nThe concerts will take place every Thursday in August at the Allandale Amphitheater. Gates open at 5 p.m.\, craft beer and food will go on sale at 5:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. \nSchedule of performers: \n–          Aug. 4: Carson Peters and the Iron Mountain Band \n–          Aug. 11: Queens of Country with Hearts Gone South \n–          Aug. 18: Elliott and the Untouchables \n–          Aug. 25: Big Daddy Love \nFor more information about the concerts visit www.augustunderthestars.com. \nAbout Allandale Mansion \nAllandale Mansion was built in the early 1950s and donated to the City of Kingsport in 1969 after the death of its owner\, Harvey Brooks. The property includes the mansion\, two barns\, a picnic pavilion\, two man-made ponds\, the Heron Dome and a 2\,000-square-foot amphitheater.
