Have you been thinking about getting into backpacking but aren’t sure where to start? We have you covered! Our Backpacking 101 Class introduces you to all you need to know to be able to hit the trail for multiple days so that you can extend your adventure, access remote locations and experience natural wonders beyond those that a day hike affords. Topics include trip planning, gear review and selection, meal planning and everything else you need to know to embark on your first backpacking trip! This is an overview course and does not include any actual backpacking. Age 8+
