Becoming a Naturalist

On Sunday, April 28 from 10am-noon, join Ranger Phil Hylen at the Old Restaurant Building above cabins 1-20 for a mini workshop to bring out your inner outdoorsman. Participants will learn how to make deeper observations about the natural world around them whether it be wildflowers, geology, birding, or any other nature-related activity. The skills learned in this class will be a great starting point for anyone looking to become more knowledgeable of any one particular field of study.
This program is limited to 20 people and costs $10.00 per workshop participant. Parking for this event will be allowed at any of the cabin parking lots. Be ready to go outdoors and do a little hiking during this program.
