Border Bash Continues with JP Parsons & The American Bandwagon and Beth Snapp

Bristol, VA-TN (June 12, 2018) – Set in Historic Downtown Bristol, the third “BASH” of the year will be held on Friday, June 15th, 2018.  Border Bash occurs on State Street all year with the exception of the July 4^th Celebration to be held in Cumberland Square Park after the Independence Day Parade.  Each evening, events will start with children’s activities, crafters, and concessions at 6:30PM. Live music begins approximately 7:00PM and 8:30PM.  As always, Border Bash is free to the public!

JP Parsons & The American Bandwagon 7:00 PM – Blending folk, bluegrass, americana, and roots music, East Tennessee luminary JP Parsons has been received as a regional songwriting sensation throughout the Southeast. Either performing as a solo artist or with The American Bandwagon, his songs are immediately familiar. From large festivals to the tiniest of bars and listening rooms, this is definitely one bandwagon worth joining.

Beth Snapp 8:30 PM – Beth Snapp is a pop infused roots artist from Northeast TN. Her style flits between folk, bluegrass, pop, early R&B and jazz, all with an ease that connects the listener to complex emotions that fall on every day moments to create an “I’ve been there before” sensation. Beth is releasing a new EP, entitled “Don’t Apologize”, in early summer 2018. Recorded at the renown Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC, this EP focuses on one theme: love. Love yourself, love others, and do good things. Beth has opened/shared stage with acts such as Jill Andrews, Cruz Contreras of the Black Lillies, Iris Dement, Scott Miller and the Commonwealth, and Grammy nominated cellist Dave Eggar.
