As one of America’s most beloved classic rock albums\, Alone Together – Mason’s debut solo album – is represented on eight timeless tracks that are as satisfying and inspiring now as they were when they were released 46 years ago.\nThe Alone Together Again show will include fan favorites like “All Along the Watchtower” and “Feelin’ Alright\,” in addition to the album’s classic songs. Photos and firsthand autobiographical commentary will complement the guest experience\, making this series of performances by a living classic rock legend of one of rock n roll history’s most significant albums a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.\nBest known for his soulful voice and unsurpassed guitar playing\, Dave Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a founding member of the group Traffic\, and continues performing as a solo artist with sold-out shows all over the world. His career spans several important rock eras\, and encompasses his work as a producer\, performer\, songwriter\, and consummate guitarist. A quintessential rock star\, Mason has collaborated with numerous members of music elite\, including Jimi Hendrix\, George Harrison\, Paul McCartney\, Stevie Wonder\, Michael Jackson\, Eric Clapton\, and many more.\n\n\nMARTI JONES\n\n\nFACEBOOK\n\n\nMarti Jones first emerged as the front-woman of the group Color Me Gone before issuing her solo debut Unsophisticated Time — produced by future husband Don Dixon — in 1985. She has since released numerous records but has focused much of her creative energy on painting\, under the name Marti Jones Dixon. Lucky Stars: New Lullabies for Old Souls\, an album credited to the husband-and-wife duo of Marti Jones and Don Dixon\, was made available for digital download in March 2008 and her latest album\, “You’re Not The Bossa Me\,” wil. be available soon!\n\n\nDON DIXON\n\n\nFACEBOOK\n\n\nDon Dixon was born on December 13\, 1950 in Lancaster\, South Carolina. His college roommate was the writer Bruce Brooks.\nDixon is considered to be one of the key producers of what is called the jangle pop movement of the early 1980s. He spent thirteen years as a member of NC cult heroes Arrogance. Around 1983\, Dixon attracted attention by co-producing with Mitch Easter\, R.E.M.’s landmark debut LP Murmur. He then spent several years producing the work of varied artists including Chris Stamey (formerly of The dB’s) and The Smithereens. Considered to be a highlight of this period was Tommy Keene’s Run Now EP (co-produced with T Bone Burnett). This success led to Dixon recording his solo debut Most of the Girls Like to Dance (But Only Some of the Boys Like To)\, a further affirmation of his love of classic pop melodies and spiky\, Nick Lowe-inspired wordplay.\nAfter producing wife Marti Jones’ Unsophisticated Time\, he released his second solo effort\, Romeo at Juilliard\, in 1987 and the live Chi-Town Budget Show a year later. After 1989’s EEE\, Dixon’s recording career went into hiatus for several years and he returned to producing\, helming efforts for the Smithereens\, Richard Barone\, and James McMurtry before finally releasing Romantic Depressive in 1995. Another lengthy hiatus preceded the early 2000 release of The Invisible Man and its 2001 follow-up\, Note Pad #38.
