Elizabethton 4th of July Celebration
The annual Independence Day Celebration will take place on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at the Covered Bridge Park. Enjoy patriotic opening ceremonies, free concerts in the park, a patriotic bike parade for ages 18 and under and the Little Miss Firecracker Beauty Pageant.
BIKE PARADE INFO: The Patriotic Bike Parade will take place immediately following the opening ceremonies (approximately 12:30 PM) beginning at the fountain area of the Covered Bridge Park. This short ride that is appropriate for all age groups will travel over the Broad St. Bridge, through the Covered Bridge and ending at the stage for winning announcements.
Any type of cycle can be entered into the contest such as bicycles, scooters, wagons, etc. Anything NON-motorized. They should be decorated patriotically and judging will be based on creativity and looks. First, second and third places will receive trophies.
