Family MTB Ride

FINALLY, A FAMILY RIDE!!! Hey y’all bring you entire family out to Bays Mountain MTB Trails (Chestnut Trail Out and Back) for a leisure ride through the single track! While I do not expect everyone to stay together throughout the ride, how cool would it be to all be out on the trails once a month as a group! Getting to know people in the cycling community builds long lasting friendships! Here you can meet other families who ride, learn skills from each other, learn (and teach our kiddos) proper trail etiquette, the list goes on and on! Riders will be going back and forth on the trail to offer assistance and offer general guidance! Remember this is a fun ride not an instructional course. If you are capable of riding Chestnut Trail, please load up and come play bikes with us.

Requirements: Helmets for everyone (mom, dad, grandparents, kids, etc. Yes everyone), mecahnically safe bikes, nutrition and hydration, tools necessary for fixing flats and other trail side repair, etc.

Bays Mountain requires all bikes to be registered and checked prior to jumping on the trial. Please allow time to do this prior to the ride. Each rider is responsible for this pre-ride approval.
