Hike to Lower Higgins Falls

Come take a hike with Ranger Gary and see this beautiful waterfall in the neighboring Cherokee National Forest. A moderate yet short hike of about two miles round trip from the Lower Higgins Creek parking area to the Falls. While the trail is an old logging road, it is quite rocky, so appropriate footwear is a must. Please don’t forget to bring water and any other sustenance you may need for the hike.
We will meet at the USFS parking area at the end of Lower Higgins Creek Rd.
For those unfamiliar with that location, you can meet Ranger Gary in the RFSP main parking area at 8:30am and drive to the site location.
