Historic Jonesborough Town Tour

Jonesborough’s Historic Walking Tours are back with more options for the 2017 season!  Take a walking tour this spring on Monday, Friday, and Saturday at 1:00 p.m.  Tickets are only $5.00 per person and can be purchased directly at the Chester Inn State Historic Site and Museum on Main Street.  Tours will depart from the Museum and costumed guides will lead guests on an hour long journey through Jonesborough’s storied past.  During the summer months, an additional tour will be offered on Sundays at 2:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. evening tours will also be available from June through September.  There’s never a bad time of day to tour Tennessee’s Oldest Town.
 
A new, special tour will put Jonesborough’s history to the test this season and separate the myths from the facts.  Jonesborough’s Mythbusting Tour will debut on April 1^st and be offered at various other times throughout the year.  Just how outrageous is Jonesborough’s history?  Come along and find out!  All tour tickets can be purchased at the Chester Inn Museum.
