Mixing fiction and documentary, Hotel Dallas is a surreal parable of communism, capitalism and the power of art. Set in communist Romania and America, the film depicts Ilie, a small-time criminal, and his daughter Livia, who is in love with Dallas’ leading man Patrick Duffy, and their aspirations.
