Main Street Jonesborough’s next Third Thursday will take place on July 18th from 5 to 8 p.m. Discover unique finds at the many shops, explore museums and grab dinner or a tasty treat from one of the eateries or confectionaries. This family-friendly and open-to-the-public event takes place on the third Thursday of every month from 5 to 8 p.m. throughout Downtown Jonesborough.
This month you’ll have the chance to score FREE tickets to the Johnson City Cardinals Baseball game during Third Thursday. The first few to purchase any item from a participating merchant will receive one free ticket. Your second way to win is by taking part in the scavenger hunt. Clues will be listed on Main Street Jonesborough Facebook Page to help you find the tickets scattered throughout Jonesborough. The scavenger hunt kicks off during Third Thursday but will continue until all tickets have been found.
Other festivities include Boone Street Market’s Thursday Burger Night, live music, and extended hours until 8 p.m. for both shopping and dining. The Corner Cup will be offering their delicious root beer and coffee floats. Gabriel’s Christmas will be offering a free ornament with a $25 purchase plus other deals and steals happening at multiple locations. Take part in a Town Tour through downtown Jonesborough with the Heritage Alliance taking place at 7:00 p.m. To check in for the tour, go to the Chester Inn Museum located on Main Street. If you’re up for a double dose of history, enjoy History Happy Hour at the Chester Inn Museum from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
