Jonesborough’s Dulcimer Days

Jonesborough’s Dulcimer Days celebrates the role of the Appalachian mountain dulcimer in American life with seven days of dulcimer-infused performances, workshops and hands-on opportunities to experience the dulcimer and other forms of art in Tennessee’s Oldest Town. Jonesborough’s Dulcimer Week takes place May 13 through May 19. Try your hand at the dulcimer during a workshop or sit back and enjoy the many mountain dulcimer concerts dotted throughout Jonesborough.

Jonesborough’s Dulcimer Days is providing the opportunity for the public to create art in more ways than just musically. The week is jam-packed with hands-on arts in public places by local artists and makers. These hands-on opportunities are free and sponsored by the Jonesborough Dulcimer Friends and Music on the Square.
