Jonesborough's Lighting of the Tree
The Town of Jonesborough will kick off its holiday season with the Lighting of the Tree on Saturday, November 26th at 6:00p.m. Just beside the downtown Washington County Courthouse stands the 80 foot tall spruce tree that is adorned with lights year after year to get the citizens of Jonesborough in the Christmas spirit.
Come and hear the angelic sounds of David Crockett High School Choral group, led by Kelly Sams and the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre Players, as well as other musical entertainment as we welcome the Christmas Season. The voice of Anne Mason will take us back to our childhood as she tells a Christmas story before the tree is lit to mark the beginning of Jonesborough’s Christmas Season.
