Life on the Farm: Then and Now

Listen to stories about farming in the 1700s and farming in the 21st century in the latest edition of the StoryTown Radio Show on Monday, September 28 at 7 p.m. at the McKinney Center.
StoryTown performs in the format of a live, old-time radio show complete with sound effects, musical underscoring, live skits, and a great musical guest. This month’s show is titled “Life on the Farm: Then and Now.” We’ll be sharing stories from Century Farms in Washington County like Knob Creek Nursery & Vineyard and Grand Oak Farm. We’ll also check in with the Appalachian Resource Conservation & Development Council. Joining the cast this month is musical guest Momma Molasses, “whose music interlaces Classic Country, Folk, Piedmont Blues, Soul, Swing, Bluegrass, and Old-Time.
