Thru Friday, September 22, 2017 – Reece Museum
Paper and Ink: Prints/Drawings/Installations Exhibit
Exhibition featuring work by Laken Bridges and John Hilton. The idea for the exhibition is rooted in the artists’ shared passion for paper and ink media. Stylistically and conceptually there is a “dialogue” between the two artists’ work—both use symbolism and humor to establish critiques and narratives. An artist talk and reception will be held on Thursday, September 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. Both the talk and reception are free and open to the public. The Reece Museum is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm. Admission is free and parking passes are available for weekday visitors.
