Your $50 contribution includes admission, desserts & drinks, live & silent auctions, and thrilling performances of short works by the dancers of the acclaimed Highlands Ballet Company.
The evening’s entertainment begins with excerpts of original choreography from Highlands Ballet’s repertoire – “Love & Purity,” “La Barre” and two new pieces choreographed by Jeffrey Rockland and Bruce Ewing. A special presentation of “The Wolf Crystal,” an immersive theater experience from the Virginia Highlands Festival, will be performed. In addition, the company will present a sneak preview of selected pieces from “The Nutcracker,” coming in December and pieces from “Magic Butterfly,” a collaboration with composer Evelyn Pursley-Kopitzke and the Paramount Chamber Players.
