| A man on a mission.Music Maker Relief Foundation founder Timothy Duffy has spent his life working to preserve the music traditions of the South by directly supporting the musicians who make it, ensuring their voices will not be silenced by poverty and time. Over the years he and co-founder Denise Duffy (his wife) have not only built performance programs that help build knowledge and an appreciation of America’s musical traditions, Tim has documented these artists in striking and beautiful photographs along the way. Join us for a fascinating look at his work on July 6 through the Birthplace of Country Music Museum’s Virtual Speaker Series. Also, view Duffy’s photographs in our current special exhibit, Our Living Past: Platinum Portraits of Southern Music Makers.
