Presidential Easter Egg Roll
The Andrew Johnson National Historic Site in partnership with the Greeneville Greene County Museum and Youth Builders invites the young, and the young at heart, to participate in the annual “Presidential Easter Egg Roll” to be held on Saturday, April 8th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The event will begin at the Greeneville Greene County Museum at 2:00 p.m. and progress to the backyard of the Johnson Homestead for outdoor activities at 2:30 p.m.
Kids will start by decorating their own wooden egg that they get to take home after the event. Participants will then use their wooden eggs to take part in several egg-related games including spoon relays, egg hunt, and of course the main event, the Easter Egg Roll! The program is open to children ages 5-12. Kids are encouraged to dress for the weather and outside play. Don’t forget to bring your baskets!
