Rainbow Trout Removal

Come on out with TWRA and OMTU members this Friday, June 28th as we assistant in removing rainbow trout from Green Mountain Branch, Johnson County, TN. This is the first step in returning this stream to native Southern Appalachian brook trout to the waterway. Introduced rainbow trout compete for resources with the brook trout and their removal helps ensure the time and money spent for restoration reap the biggest benefit.
We will meet at 9:30 am at the Shady Valley Country Store (110 TN-133, Shady Valley, TN).
