StoryTown Radio Show

July 27 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

StoryTown Radio Show Partners with Appalachian Highlands Humane Society Pet Food Drive on July 27 Show

The StoryTown Radio Show is proud to announce a partnership with the Appalachian Highlands Humane Society for “Paws & Reflect: Stories about Our Four-Legged Friends” on July 27 at 7 p.m. Come to the Radio Show at the McKinney Center and bring your pet food donations with you. The Humane Society is always in need of donations for the animals they serve. Bring cat and dog food and cat litter to the show that evening, every little bit helps.

This month’s Radio Show is full of stories about our furry friends, from dogs to cats and horses and goats. In addition, storyteller Andy Offutt Iriwin will be on hand to entertain the audience with a special tale. If you bring a donation for the Humane Society, you will be entered into a drawing for two Soups and Songs tickets (value $70), StoryTown’s holiday fundraiser in November.

It’s going to be a memorable evening on July 27. Tickets for the Radio Show are $10 and available online at Jonesborough.com/tickets or by calling the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center at 423.753.1010.

The Radio Show is recorded for broadcast on local NPR station WETS 89.5 out of Johnson City, which can be heard the last Wednesday of the month at 8PM. StoryTown is sponsored by the Tennessee Arts Commission, Gary and Sandee Degner, Terry and Sandy Countermine, Herman and Beverly Jenkins, Doug and Denise Gross, Ed and Frankie Wolff, the Wild Women of Jonesborough, and Wolfe Development.
