Storytown Radio Show: Old Fashioned Fun

This month’s StoryTown Radio Show takes place on Monday, August 22 at 7 p.m. at the McKinney Center featuring stories about technology “Before Google.”
Tickets are $10 and are available by calling the Jonesborough Visitors Center at 423.753.1010 or online at Jonesborough.com/tickets.
Some topics will include phone books, telephone operators, card catalogs and reference librarians. Once a standard part of everyday life, these things have all but disappeared from the twenty-first century landscape, and they will be featured in this month’s show.
Joining the cast in this episode is regional musician Adam Bolt of Abingdon, Virginia, playing his own unique brand of country music.
