Tennessee Craft Week
October 5, 2018 - October 14, 2018
The 2018 Tennessee Craft Week (TCW), supported by Tennessee Craft and the Tennessee Department of Tourism Development, connects and celebrates craft artists, the work they create and the businesses that support them during the week of October 5-14, 2018.
Tennessee craft artists are encouraged to participate by creating and submitting an original event, or by adding an established community craft event into TCW. Additionally, artists can host an individual Open Studio Day or a reception at a gallery as part of the week’s spotlight on craft. As the statewide advocate and educator for the art of handmade craft, Tennessee Craft urges all craft artists to be a part of this successful campaign, branding and promoting their skills, as well as building the reputation of handmade products “Made in Tennessee.”

Deadline to be included as a Featured Event and included in the printed brochure is July 15.
All submitted events will be included on the Tennessee Craft Week website’s event calendar and TNvacation.com, and promoted on Tennessee Craft’s social media platforms. Events entered after the July 15 deadline cannot be guaranteed the same level of promotion, due to the increased number of events projected this year.
This fourth celebration of TCW is held in conjunction with the annual American Craft Week, honoring and promoting fine craft across the nation. Hundreds of accomplished artists showing and demonstrating their art (at more than 75 craft-based events across the state) exemplify the impact that the “Made in Tennessee” craft culture brings to our communities, economy and quality of life.
The partnership between the Tennessee Department of Tourism Development and Tennessee Craft garnered national attention earning top honors with American Craft Week Star Awards in the last three years for its engaging artist demonstrations at fifteen Tennessee Welcome Centers.
