The Religious Art of Clorinda Bell Exhibit at ETSU's Reece Museum

The Reece Museum will be showcasing The Religious Art of Clorinda Bell from April 13 until May 29, 2015. Bell, a native of Cuzco, Peru, currently resides in Powell, Tennessee with her husband Aaron and her son Benjamin. She has been painting since the age of eleven and is considered one of the first women to have mastered the Cuzco School of Religious Art style, a technique that has been handed down in her family for generations. Drawing upon her Catholic faith as a source of creative inspiration, Bell carries on her family’s tradition.
