Keep Carter County Beautiful (KCCB) is excited to partner with Elizabethton Parks and
Recreation for the 4th Annual Beautification Project along the Tweetsie Trail in
Elizabethton.
When: Saturday, March 27, 2021 Start Time: 10:00 AM.
Two locations on the Tweetsie Trail have been designated for tree plantings. We will
meet first on the Tweetsie Trail at the corner of Mary Patton Highway & West G Street
behind Grindstaff Chevrolet. Once we have completed the first area of planting, we will
relocate to the Tweetsie Trail on Highways 321 & 67 in front of Great Clips and across
the highway from First Assist Urgent Care in Elizabethton. The Elizabethton Parks and
Recreation will have the holes pre-dug for planting which will help immensely with our
beautification project!
Volunteers need to bring shovels, wheelbarrows, rakes, work gloves, etc. Dress
appropriately for the weather, bring water and snacks. After the event there will be
group pictures taken and selected gifts for the participants.
All volunteers are expected to wear protective facial coverings and follow CDC social
distance guidelines. Plan on attending this wonderful event in support of our beloved
community and Tweetsie Trail Beautification program here in Elizabethton!
