Wetlands Water Park to Kick off Summer

Nothing signifies summer in Jonesborough more than Wetlands Water Park. Park-goers can look forward to a jam-packed line-up of summer events, including Sneak Peek Days, End of School Bash, and Grand Opening Weekend.

Enjoy two days of early season swimming at Wetlands with Sneak Peek Days May 18 through May 19. The Water Park will be open Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. A full day of swimming is just $9 and half-priced tickets begin at 3 p.m.

Celebrate the end of the school year with End of School Bash. The event will be held on May 23 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with discounted tickets at just $5 for ages 4 and up.

Join Wetlands Water Park for their official Grand Opening Weekend on May 26. They will kick off their regular season with hours, Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday Funday rates also begin with tickets available at $9 per person every Sunday.

While spending a day at Wetlands, park-goers will enjoy three flume water slides, two family otter slides, and a lazy river. Along with the slides and the pool, there is a zero depth pool, which allows access to people of all ages, particularly the little ones, who can enjoy additional features such as water bubblers, spray features, dump buckets and a rain tree. Swimming builds up an appetite and Wetlands boasts a full-service café to meet those needs. There is also a beach volleyball court, picnic tables, and a massive sun deck.

Regular daily ticket rates are $12 for adults and $9 for children and seniors with children 3 and under free. For Sunday, tickets for all ages are $9.00 while 3 and under free. Everyday tickets become half price off regular admission at 3 p.m. Season pass rates are $80 for adults and $60 for children ages 4 –12 and seniors 55 and over.  A season pass will pay for itself after the sixth visit to the park.
