DESCRIPTION:Hit the Trails for the Bays Mountain Bike Rally\nFamily friendly biking event commemorates 50 years of Bays Mountain Park \nThe challenge: 50 miles for 50 years. Are you ready? Registration for the Bays Mountain Bike Rally is now open! Bays Mountain Park is partnering with All Trails Cycling for this 50th Anniversary event\, sponsored by BB&T/Suntrust (now Truist Bank). \nOn Saturday\, October 2\, head up the mountain and hit the trails for a mountain biking event for all ages and skill levels. Looking to just have some fun with the family? Register for the guided group fun ride\, which begins at 8:30 a.m. and travels four miles route on a non-technical forest road. If you’re up for a challenge\, assemble your four-person team for the timed “50ish” mile relay at 10 a.m. The relay course will include a good mix of singletrack with some technical sections for the experienced rider. \nLocal bike shops and SORBA Tri-Cities will be on site for an expo-type experience\, as well as food trucks to grab a bite to eat after the big race. Spectators are welcome! \nRegistration for either ride is $25 per adult\, $15 for ages 13 to 18 and free for children 12 and under. All ride participants will receive an event t-shirt! Registration for the KAC’s 8th Annual Drool Pawty is now open. \n\nOn Saturday\, October 2 from 1 to 3 p.m.\, bring your best pals to the pools for some aquatic fun at the Outdoor Water Park. Dogs get to swim\, play and make new puppy friends in the toddler play area for a real dog day afternoon. \nAdmission is $5 per dog and free to owners. DESCRIPTION:Historic Jonesborough will host Strolling on Main on Saturday\, October 2 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees of this event can tour downtown Jonesborough while sampling tapas and beverages\, perusing work from local artists and enjoying music. \n  \nAttendees can sample tapas throughout downtown Jonesborough and enjoy wine\, cocktail and beer selections\, offered at various locations. \n \n  \nLocal artists will demo\, display and sell their work along Main Street. Strolling musicians will entertain guests along the route. \n \nAdmission is $30 for tapas and alcoholic beverage tastings and $20 for tapas only tastings. A limited number of tickets are available.
