SUMMARY:14th Annual Celebration of Bluegrass\, Old Time\, Celtic\, and Country Music
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, April 14\, 2017\, 7:00 p.m.\, Paramount Center for the Arts Bristol\, TN \n14th Annual Celebration of Bluegrass\, Old Time\, Celtic\, and Country Music Studies \nThe concert will showcase many of the top student performing groups from Bluegrass\, Old Time\, & Country Music Studies at East Tennessee State University\, which is part of the Department of Appalachian Studies. Several student bands will highlight a wide variety of bluegrass and roots music styles\, from traditional to progressive.  Guest of honor will be Grammy Award-winning musician David Holt is a musician\, storyteller\, historian\, television host\, and entertainer whose career has focused on performing and preserving traditional American music. Tickets are $16 for adults\, and $12 for students with ID\, children under 12\, and seniors over 65.  For tickets\, call the Paramount box office at 423-274-8920.
