SUMMARY:Rogersville Heritage Days
DESCRIPTION:Year after year Rogersville’s historic downtown district provide a welcoming festival setting for Heritage Days – a traditional community celebration of Rogersville’s unique heritage. The festival showcases traditional music\, storytellers\, and dancers\, special activities for Children\, demonstrations of pioneer skills\, antique quilts\, cars and farm equipment\, a juried craft show\, and a food court to delight everyone!\nHeritage Days 2016 will be held October 14th\, 15th and 16th. Friday nights activities include the costumed children’s parade\, the Chili Cook-off in the Hale Springs Inn courtyard\, and the antique car cruise-in.Please note that craft booths and shows will not be open on Friday evening.\nSaturday & Sunday are devoted to activities to please everyone\, including: \n\nOver 100 juried craft artists offering a wide variety of lovely hand-made items\nCraft Demonstrations\nTraditional Appalachian music\nAppalachian Dancers\nCivil War Calvary Re-enactors at Crockett Spring Park\nArt & Photography Show\nHeritage Children’s Train\nFestival Food\n\nTo receive an application for the October 14th\, 15th and 16th festival please email your name and mailing address to director@rogersvilleheritage.org or call 423-272-1961.\n
