SUMMARY:Heritage Alliance Summer Supper
DESCRIPTION:The Heritage Alliance is excited to host a Summer Supper on Saturday\, July 15 at 6 p.m. on Spring Street in Jonesborough. The Summer Suppers are an exclusive series and seating is limited to 36 people. Tickets are $60 for Summer Suppers can be purchased through the Town of Jonesborough’s ticketing website at jonesborough.com/tickets. Summer Suppers sell out every year. \n\nThis year’s Summer Supper will take place at the Howard-Bookout House. The BBQ supper will be catered by the Olde Towne Pancake House and will take place on the lawn of the home. Guests will be able to enjoy the musical stylings of local musician Scott Wild. \n\nFunds from ticket sales will help the Heritage Alliance organization continue their educational programs. Ticket sales are non-refundable\, but they are considered a donation. DESCRIPTION:With West Depot Street sidewalks and street surface nearing completion\, organizations are beginning to plan events on the Festival Block from Main Street to Irish Street. (Stay tuned for more details on these exciting plans!) \nThe Town of Greeneville would like to invite you to a Back to Depot Block Party and Grand Opening of this block on Saturday\, August 19th. \nThere will be several events throughout the day with a “Back to the Future” theme. Many of the Depot Street businesses are going to stay open late for shopping\, food and drink\, and special discounts. There will be a screening of the movie at the Capitol Theatre in the afternoon with a costume contest\, and in the evening\, we’ll have 50s – 80s decades dance music from DJ Robbie Britton\, carnival-style food vendors\, special art presentations\, and kids’ activities. \nMain Street: Greeneville will be having their Barrel & Leaf Event at the Nickle Ridge Winery\, and the Greene County Partnership will help kick off the opening of the block! The Greeneville Noon Rotary Club will have a special unveiling on the street\, and there will be speeches and updates on the history and the future of Depot and Downtown Greeneville! We cannot wait to see you all there!
