Throughout the week\, participating businesses will offer featured menu items\, drinks\, specials and unique experiences designed to encourage residents and visitors to dine local and support downtown businesses. \n“Downtown Kingsport has an incredible variety of locally owned food and beverage businesses\, and Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to put the spotlight on them\,” said Robin Cleary\, senior director of the Downtown Kingsport Association. “We want people to get out\, try something new\, revisit an old favorite and experience all that Downtown Kingsport has to offer.” \nExplore Downtown with the Restaurant Week Digital Passport \nA Downtown Kingsport Restaurant Week digital passport will feature each participating business along with its featured Restaurant Week items or experiences. Participating restaurants will offer special menus\, discounts\, and other unique opportunities for guests to try something new and enjoy their favorite local spots. From specially created menus to percentage-off promotions\, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience the flavors of Main Street. Be sure to follow along throughout the week and watch for special offerings from each participating restaurant! \nTo make Restaurant Week even more fun\, we’re launching the Passport to Flavor Challenge. Participants can choose between a physical passport or a digital PDF passport as they explore participating restaurants throughout the week. Guests can collect stamps by visiting participating locations and will receive a prize for participating in the challenge. \nPhysical passports can be picked up at the Jonesborough Visitors Center\, located at 117 Boone Street. The Visitors Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Physical passports will also be available for pickup at participating restaurants beginning Monday\, October 5. \nParticipants may also download a digital PDF version of the passport online at Restaurant Week – Town of Jonesborough. Passports do not need to be fully completed to receive a prize. Participants simply need to show their passport and stamps documenting their participation at the Jonesborough Visitors Center between October 12 and October 17. Once participation has been verified\, participants will receive their prize and may keep their physical passport.

Attendees will enjoy a series of ghost stories featuring world-renowned storytellers Michael Reno Harrell andJessica Piscitelli Robinson. \n\nMichael Reno Harrell brings a natural gift for storytelling rooted in the Southern Appalachian Mountains\, where storytelling is as integral to the culture as its music. His original stories and songs blend seamlessly into narratives that explore shared emotions\, experiences\, laughter\, and nostalgia. Through his stories\, songs\, and artwork\, Michael captures both the Southern experience and the broader American story. Everything centers on one thing: story. \n\nJessica Piscitelli Robinson is the Founding Executive Director of Better Said Than Done\, producer of the Women’s Storytelling Festival and storytelling events throughout Northern Virginia and beyond. A nationally recognized storyteller\, Jessica has performed at major storytelling festivals and on WGBH’s Stories from the Stage and the Risk! Podcast. A 2023 ORACLE Award recipient\, she received the National Storytelling Network’s ORACLE for Distinguished National Service in 2026. She also teaches storytelling workshops for universities\, businesses\, and community organizations. DESCRIPTION:This Halloween\, we are trading the ordinary for a little New Orleans spirit. On Friday\, October 30\, the Rooftop Terrace becomes the setting for Hallow’s Eve\, an evening of costumes\, cocktails\, music\, and Crescent City flavor beneath the October sky. \nFrom 8 p.m. to midnight\, enjoy beignets\, gumbo\, gator tail\, and boudin balls while a DJ keeps the evening moving. Sugarlands will join the celebration with a special tasting\, alongside a cash bar featuring Sugarlands cocktails and beer. Every guest will also take home a complimentary light-up tankard\, and costumes could earn more than compliments\, with Brumley’s gift cards and Sugarlands swag awaiting the winners of our costume contest. \nTickets are $45 per person\, plus tax and gratuity\, and the celebration is exclusively for guests 21 and older. Costumes are highly encouraged.
