DESCRIPTION:Mike Bos Chassis Craft Jr. Dragster Nationals\n\nFriday\, July 10 – Sunday\, July 12\, 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDrag racing’s next generation of stars thunder into Bristol Dragway July 10-12 for the Mike Bos Chassis Craft Jr. Dragster Nationals\, followed by the Mike Bos Fun Races on July 13-15. Leading into Eastern Conference Finals action\, the Nationals have become one of the greatest junior dragster events in the country and provides competitors the opportunity to tune their cars prior to eliminations. \nDrivers ranging in age from six to 17 will participate in several events throughout the weekend including Saturday and Sunday’s bracket racing including the Teel Family Memorial Race on Sunday. Competitors participating in bracket races will be divided into one of four age groups – 6-9\, 10-12\, 13-14 and 15-17\, while the Teel Family event is one class\, separated by age group. \nMike Bos Chassis Craft Fun Races are also slated to take place on Tuesday\, July 14 and Wednesday\, July 15 with the 13-17 age group racing Tuesday and ages 6-12 scheduled the second day. \nFor more information call 423-BRISTOL. \nDue to electrical safety concerns\, power WILL NOT be available during any Bristol Dragway events. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have power\, water\, and sewer needs we have a limited amount of full hook-up camping remaining.

SUMMARY:Fun Fest Adult Softball Home Run Derby
DESCRIPTION:Kingsport Parks and Recreation is now accepting registrations for the Fun Fest Adult Softball Home Run Derby.\n\nThe derby is open for men and women and will take place at 2 p.m. at Brickyard Park on two separate days. The Women’s derby is on July 11; the Men’s derby is on July 18.\n\nThe registration fee is $10 per person\, and each participant will receive either 36 pitches or two minutes of pitches. The top four batters will advance to bracket play after the first round.\n\nParticipants must provide their own pitcher and any legal USSSA or USA stamped bat can be used.
