Main Street Greeneville Tours 90 minute tour of the Dickson-\nWilliams Mansion is conducted by trained professional interpreters.\nWalk across the threshold of the mansion and step into the storied past filled\nwith exquisite antique furnishings\, immortal American heroes\, and an\nintriguing history. \nStep into the bedroom where\, in September 1864\, the dashing “Thunderbolt\nof the Confederacy”\, General John Hunt Morgan\, spent his last night. Learn\nabout his tragic death at the hands of Union soldiers. \nThe house is gloriously restored\, with original furniture\, many from Greene\nCounty\, and other 1850’s period artifacts. Our tour of the Dickson-Williams\nMansion brings alive its incredible story from the time of the town’s\nfounding through the Civil War. \nTours are conducted daily beginning at 1:00pm.
