There is still a lot of fun to be had at our pool session by practicing your flat-water freestyle moves and fellowshipping with other paddlers in a nice warm water environment. DESCRIPTION:Escape the summer heat and join Park Ranger Philip Hylen for a snorkeling excursion on the doe river! This event will begin at 3:00PM starting at the Roan Mountain State Park Visitor Center. From there\, participants will motorcade to the Peg Leg section of the Doe River. Participation costs $10.00 a person and is limited to 12 individuals. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. https://reserve.tnstateparks.com/register/doe-river-snorkeling-excursion-aug17   \nEnjoy a beginner snorkeling lesson followed by an underwater search for the many types of animals that call the Doe River home. Our discoveries will be recorded for local flora/fauna inventory and will help to determine how our local wildlife/fishery populations are doing!
