SUMMARY:Eugene Wolf: “The Book Of Mamaw"
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday May 28th at 7:00 pm EST – Greeneville’s own Eugene Wolf will perform his one man\nshow “The Book Of Mamaw ” at the Appalachian Auditorium at St. James 3220 St. James Road\nGreeneville\, TN. \nLong-time Barter Theatre Acting Company member\, Eugene Wolf’s one-man show of stories\, songs\nand sketches about growing up with Bernice Rader\, his Church of Christ grandmother who\nrecognized Eugene’s love of performing at an early age and guided him on his way. \nEugene Wolf has been performing since he was two years old\, when he won his first talent contest\nat the Capitol Theatre in Greeneville\, Tennessee. \nRhonda Hinkle Broyles\, his bandmate from Greeneville High School\, went to New York to see this\nplay. She wrote\, “The Book Of Mamaw” touches virtually every aspect of life as a human\, all swept\nup in songs that reflect relationships that leave skid marks\, bright city lights\, small town chatter\,\ngraveside weeping\, singing pigs and hope eternal. Laughter\, silence\, sing-alongs\, shout outs and\ngrief all erupt from the audience as Eugene magically creates how his Mamaw rescued a 2-year-old\nboy. She gave him steadfastness\, love\, a model of faith in God\, music\, and direction – along with\nfreedom – to become the performer and person he became.” Best of all\, Eugene Wolf enables us to\nsee Greeneville even more as the charming\, SPECIAL town that it is! \nAppalachian Auditorium is Greene County’s newest music venue located in the historic St. James\nSchool Auditorium. It is operated by the St. James Community Center\, a non-profit organization. Our\nmission is to bring quality live entertainment to the southern part of Greene County and beyond at an\naffordable ticket price. Tickets are $15\, available at appalachian-auditorium.org or by calling\n423-312-4392. All proceeds from ticket sales are used to update the auditorium\, as well as help\nsupport the cost for artist fees\, advertising\, and printing. \nA “pay it forward” ticket program is available on the website so that donors can cover the\ncost for other people in the community. We feel it is essential that EVERYONE in our community be\nable to attend live shows and interact with others. \nVenue information: https://www.appalachian-auditorium.org/ For more information contact Phyllis\nShelton at phyllis@ltcconsultants.com /(615) 406-3908 or Lori Powell at thedabara33@gmail.com\n/(267) 797-6020.
