DESCRIPTION:51st NSRA Street Rod Nationals South Set to Roll into Johnson City\, Tennessee in 2026! \nJOHNSON CITY\, Tenn. – The National Street Rod Association (NSRA) is excited to announce that the 51st edition of the Street Rod Nationals South will take place on May 8th and 9th\, 2026\, at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Johnson City\, Tennessee!   \nSince our first event in 1970\, the NSRA has committed itself to bringing together street rod enthusiasts from across the nation\, fostering friendships and providing educational resources for our community. The inaugural Street Rod Nationals in Peoria\, Illinois\, paved the way for our growth\, and in 1975\, we launched the Street Rod Nationals South in Winston-Salem\, NC. This event has evolved  over the years with relocations to Columbia\, SC and then in 1984 to Knoxville\, Tennessee – culminating in our milestone 50th Street Rod Nationals South in 2024.   \nThe 51st Street Rod Nationals South promises two exhilarating days filled with camaraderie\, education\, and\, of course\, incredible vehicles. DESCRIPTION:JOHNSON CITY\, Tenn. – Visit Johnson City will welcome the NJCAA DIII Baseball World Series in 2026 and 2028 to TVA Credit Union Ballpark in Johnson City\, Tennessee. This top-of-the-line facility will encourage an environment for student-athletes to thrive\, while being advantageous for staff and spectators of the event. The National Championships will take place on May 23-27/28\, 2026 and May 27-June 1\, 2028. \n  \n“We at Visit Johnson City are thrilled to welcome the NJCAA DIII Baseball World Series to our city. This event marks not only an exciting moment for our community but also the beginning of a strong and lasting partnership with the NJCAA\,” stated Brenda Whitson\, Executive Director at Visit Johnson City. “Our city’s significant investment in upgrading and enhancing our sports venues reflects our commitment to creating a premier destination for collegiate-level events. These improvements pave the way for Johnson City to host more high-caliber competitions in the future\, strengthening our role as a hub for athletic excellence and community engagement.” \n  \nTVA Credit Union Ballpark\, owned by Boyd Sports\, LLC\, has recently undergone renovations to ensure an optimal playing field for each team. In 2024\, the stadium received brand new turf in the infield and outfield. The pitcher’s mound and home plate were updated prior to the 2024 season. Refinishing to stadium seating and roofing were completed as a means to enhance the spectator experience. \n  \nJohnson City’s TVA Credit Union Ballpark is the home of the Johnson City Doughboys\, a summer collegiate team in the Appalachian League. “We are excited to host the NJCAA DIII Baseball World Series here at TVA Credit Union Ballpark! The continued stadium improvements over the past few years have allowed us to be primed to host this event.
