DESCRIPTION:Get ready to build\, paddle\, and maybe even sink in style!Wetlands Water Park is thrilled to announce its first-ever Cardboard Boat Race on May 9\, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. a fun-filled event that challenges creativity\, teamwork\, and a little bit of courage. \nParticipants of all ages (8 and up) are invited to design and build their own cardboard boats at home using only approved materials\, then bring them to race across the pool for a chance to win exciting awards. \nThe event is open to participants ages 8 and up. The cost is $5 per boat. Teams can consist of 1 to 3 participants per boat. All boats must be built in advance and brought to the event. Purchasing a season pass gives attendees access to the water park for the entirety of the season as well as discounted rates on birthday parties\, swim lessons and other events. Season passes are $80 for adults (13-54 years)\, $60 for children (4-12 years) & seniors (55 and older) and free for 3 years and younger. \n  \nSwim lessons are $60 per child for one week. The weeks of swim lessons are June 10\, June 17\, July 8\, July 15 and July 22. All sessions will be Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. If a lesson is cancelled due to weather\, the make-up lesson will be on that Friday.
