Many parking lots are operated by civic-clubs\, non-profits\, local churches\, or school groups and charge a nominal fee for parking. The Unicoi County Apple Festival does not control these parking lots or the fees charged. \nPets?\nThe Apple Festival is a very crowded festival and it can be distressing to your pets and other vendors; therefore\, we ask that you leave your pets at home.  Service animals are allowed. \nWeather?\nThe Apple Festival takes place the first Friday and Saturday in October\, so weather that time of year can be unpredictable. The festival goes on rain or shine\, so bring your sunscreen or your umbrella! \nApple Festival Merchandise?\nThe official Unicoi County Apple Festival merchandise booth is located on the corner of Main and Gay Streets in front of the Chamber of Commerce office. Festival merchandise may be purchased prior to the festival at the Chamber office located at 100 South Main Avenue\, Erwin.

As you stroll through the beautifully decorated streets\, take the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious flavors that will surely warm your heart.\n\nTo add to the excitement\, we invite you to participate in our “shopping passport” program! Stop by the Chamber office to pick up your special cocoa mug\, provided by Bank of Tennessee\, and shopping passport. This passport will guide you to all participating businesses\, where you can collect stamps. Once you’ve received stamps from each location\, return your completed passport to the Chamber office for a chance to win a $150 gift certificate to a local business of your choice.\n\nAs you enjoy your cocoa and caroling\, you will feel the festive spirit all around. The cheerful sounds of holiday carolers will fill the air\, enhancing the joyful atmosphere of our downtown.
