SUMMARY:Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder
DESCRIPTION:Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder\n\n\n\n\nFifteen-time GRAMMY® Award winner Ricky Skaggs’ career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history. The legendary guitarist Chet Atkins once credited Skaggs with “single-handedly saving country music.” His life’s path has taken him to various musical genres\, from where it all began in bluegrass music\, to striking out on new musical journeys\, while still leaving his musical roots intact. \nIn the past decade\, he has been honored with inductions into the Gospel Music Association’s Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame. In 2018 Skaggs was also awarded membership into the National Fiddler Hall of Fame\, the IBMA Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame\, and country music’s greatest honor\, the Country Music Hall of Fame. Ricky struck his first chords on a mandolin over 60 years ago\, and he continues to do his part to lead the recent roots revival in music. Ricky Skaggs is always forging ahead with cross-cultural\, genre-bending musical ideas and inspirations.

SUMMARY:Girl Named Tom Christmas Tour
DESCRIPTION:Girl Named Tom Christmas Tour\n\n\n\n\nThree siblings unlock one harmony to unite the world as Girl Named Tom. The trio—Bekah\, Joshua\, and Caleb Liechty—notably made history as the only group to ever win NBC’s The Voice. \nAlong the way\, they’ve impressively generated over 25 million streams across chart-rattling covers such as “River\,” “The Chain\,” and “Dust in the Wind.” The proud Midwesterners gained further traction with the independent release of Another World EP. Inking a deal with Republic Records\, they served up their debut holiday EP\, One More Christmas\, which reached No. 1 on the iTunes Charts\, and embarked on a massive arena tour supporting Pentatonix for A Christmas Spectacular. \nSince 2022 the group has been living life on the road performing over 200 shows to date. The sibling trio has captivated millions on television\, appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show\, singing for the Indy 500\, and returning for a heart-wrenching performance on The Voice Finale a year after their win. Their inimitable harmony continued to resound louder with the 2023 release of the single “What A View” and with more new music on the way in 2024\, including their most recent release of “Get A Little Lost.”

SUMMARY:Gladys Knight
DESCRIPTION:Gladys Knight\n\n\n\n\nThe great ones endure\, and Gladys Knight has long been one of the greatest. Very few singers over the last sixty years have matched her unassailable artistry. This seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner has enjoyed No. 1 hits in pop\, gospel\, R&B\, and adult contemporary\, and has triumphed in film\, television\, and live performance. \nAll told\, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums over the years\, including four solo albums: Good Woman\, (1991)\, Just for You (1994)\, the inspirational Many Different Roads (1999)\, and At Last (2001). At Last showed the world that she still has what it takes to record a hit album\, employing the talents of contemporary producers like Randy Jackson. \nKnight has continued to spread her acting wings\, making a guest star appearance in the FOX hit show Star and appearing in the film Almost Christmas in 2016. In 2022\, she received the 45th Kennedy Center Honors for Lifetime Artistic Achievements along with George Clooney\, Amy Grant\, Tania Leone\, and U2. DESCRIPTION:John Anderson Acoustic\n\n\n\n\nAs a child growing up in Apopka\, Florida\, John Anderson remembers humming along to the tone of his father’s boat motor\, possibly igniting a spark that led to the start of his music career. Anderson performed solo around Florida before moving to Nashville where he worked in construction. Ironically\, he was on the roofing crew for the new Grand Ole Opry House before landing a contract with Warner Bros. Records. \nJohn started cranking out memorable hits such as “I’m Just an Old Chunk of Coal (But I’m Gonna Be a Diamond Someday)\,” “Wild and Blue\,” “I Just Came Home to Count the Memories\,” “1959\,” “Black Sheep\,” and\, of course\, his signature hit “Swingin’.” His career cooled off but saw a resurgence when he signed with BNA in 1991 and scored a comeback hit with chart-topping “Straight Tequila Night” from his acclaimed Seminole Wind album. In 1993\, Anderson was awarded the Academy of Country Music Career Achievement award. That momentum carried him into the 2000s\, giving him 60 charting country singles in four consecutive decades.

SUMMARY:Niswonger Performing Arts Center: Anthem Lights
DESCRIPTION:Anthem Lights\n\n\n\n\nAt the heart of most success stories lies a framework of brand invention\, the creation of a persona or x-factor that raises an artist above the noise. But for pop vocal group Anthem Lights\, it is reinvention that’s catapulted the talented foursome to nearly 500 million YouTube views and over two million monthly listeners on streaming services. The indie group’s success is due in large part to the foursome’s vocal prowess (Caleb Grimm\, Chad Graham\, Spencer Kane\, and Joey Stamper are all exceptional singers)\, creative mash-ups and reinventions of pop hits and beloved hymns. \n“I think the most unique thing about us is that we do all kinds of music\,” shares Graham. “We do everything from a hymns medley to a Drake cover to a year-end mash-up. Our musical diversity is our identity.” Anthem Lights produces a wide variety of new covers\, original songs and video content every month\, a perfected mix that keeps their fans engaged.

SUMMARY:Niswonger Performing Arts Center: The American ELO
DESCRIPTION:Evil Woman – The American ELO\n\n\n\n\nThe Electric Light Orchestra Experience Featuring Evil Woman is widely recognized as the world’s premier tribute to ELO due to their brilliant arrangements\, flawless musicianship and superlative vocals. Picking up where The Beatles left off in 1970\, the UK-based ELO expanded the concept of great melodies\, epic song structures and grand orchestrations where cellos coexisted with guitars\, and where classically tinged progressive rock intersected with hook-filled\, radio-friendly pop songs resulting in ELO becoming one of the most popular groups of the 1970s and perhaps even more so today. \nAudiences are left spellbound by the flawless musicianship and vocals of Evil Woman’s 12 musicians. A multi-media concert celebration of the music of ELO\, you’ll hear instantly recognizable chart-topping hit songs like “Mr. Blue Sky\,” “Roll Over Beethoven\,” “Evil Woman\,” “Telephone Line\,” “Xanadu\,” “Livin’ Thing\,” “Don’t Bring Me Down\,” and many others.
