He is also known as one of the most innovative riff-generating songwriters of the modern rock era. \nIt’s easy to see why Felder garners such a level of respect. Not only is he a proud\, longstanding member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame\, having been inducted with the Eagles back in 1998\, he was also inaugurated into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville in 2016 and the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2017. Fact is\, Felder spent 27 years with the Eagles\, who have sold over 150 million albums worldwide to date and own the fine distinction of recording the top-selling album of all time — Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975)\, which has sold over 38 million copies (and counting). “I’m honored and blessed enough to have contributed to and been a part of a very talented mixture of voices\, writing\, guitar parts\, and production\,” he says of the group. “It was a magical\, unique combination that happened in a certain place and time. When the current lineup of the band came together alongside Kantner as a unit in 2012\, with many members joining years before\, he couldn’t have imagined that the band would become the road-conquering heroes they’ve been in the last few years.\n\nJefferson Starship’s five members describe themselves as both a “family” and a “gang\,” and that comes across in talking to them\, and in their robust live performances\, which have taken them to all 50 U.S. states.\, five continents\, and too many countries to list here (a recent tour of New Zealand was mentioned among the band’s favorites)\, drawing from a massive setlist of hit after hit. \nIn addition to original member David Freiberg\, the band includes drummer Donny Baldwin (whose Jefferson Starship roots go back to 1982)\, keyboardist Chris Smith (who joined in 1998)\, guitarist Jude Gold (who joined in 2012)\, and singer and guitarist Cathy Richardson who joined in 2008\, after Kantner saw her tour with Big Brother and the Holding Company. \nAs Jefferson Starship approaches their 50th anniversary\, the group’s members look to the future with the word Kantner\, who unfortunately died in 2016\, used to say to them all the time: “Onward.” \n“To me that exploration — that Paul Kantner thing of just getting on a rocket ship and firing it as hard as it will go\, and taking off and exploring the cosmos and the music\, and everything in between — is really the spirit of Jefferson Starship\, and that’s very much alive in the band today\,” Gold says. “And that comes straight from Paul. Conventional wisdom is\, Amy Grant put Contemporary Christian Music on the map as the first CCM artist to have a platinum record\, the first to hit No.1 on the Pop charts\, and the first to perform at the GRAMMY Awards. Since then\, Grant has been strumming her way through a 30-plus year adventure as a singer-songwriter\, author\, television host\, and public speaker. \nThe Time Jumpers are a Nashville treasure established in 1998 by a group of top-flight studio session players. Twenty years on\, they are packing the house every Monday at 3rd & Lindsley. Patrons enjoy the vast array of western swing\, jazz\, country and pop standards The Time Jumpers rejoice in playing\, and so will you. \nThis event\, originally scheduled for April 19\, 2020\, as the culmination of the Blue Stocking Club of Bristol’s Centennial Campaign\, was rescheduled to Nov. 1\, 2020 due to COVID-19. The campaign to build a sustainable future for the Paramount Center for the Arts was concluded in October 2020 after raising funds for state-of-the-art LED stage lighting and wireless communication systems\, as well as restoration of the historic theatre’s art-deco interior. \nThis is not a ticketed event. Admission is granted by donation to the Paramount’s Ghost Light Matching Funds Campaign.*  Admissions previously granted by donation to the Blue Stocking Club will be honored on Sept 26\, 2021. There are a limited number of seats left\, which will be made available to Paramount Ghost Light campaign donors at $500 and above per admission. A $1\,000 donation earns you two admissions. All donations are doubled by matching grants from our generous sponsors. Your tax-deductible gift will provide urgently needed operating capital to carry the Paramount through to its anticipated reopening in 2021.
