DESCRIPTION:Waiting to Hear Presents\n\n\n\nRhonda Vincent & the Rage\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThu\, March 27\, 2025\n\n\nDoors: 6:30 pm / Show: 7:30 pm\n\n\n$45.99 – $83.00 (prices include all applicable fees and taxes) / Members save at least $5\n\nBUY TICKETS\n\n\nRhonda Vincent is a firecracker of talent that powers one of the hottest bands in any genre of music today. From humble beginnings in the tiny town of Greentop\, Missouri\, Rhonda’s musical heritage traces back 5 generations of the Vincent family. Her dad would pick her up from school each day\, and they would sing and play till dinner. After dinner\, friends came over\, and they would sing and play till bedtime. She began her professional music career singing in her family’s band The Sally Mountain Show. It was an immediate “on the job training\,” as they had a TV show\, radio show\, and made their first recording when Rhonda was 5 years old. She picked up the mandolin at eight\, the fiddle at twelve\, and learned a valuable life lesson as a teenager performing with her family at Silver Dollar City in Branson\, Missouri. While they were playing in the pouring rain to empty seats\, and what they thought\, no one listening — a week later they received a call from Hal Durham\, general manager of the Grand Ole Opry at the time\, and who just happened to be listening with his family around the corner. Mr. Durham loved what he heard and invited the Vincent family to appear on the Opry.

SUMMARY:Family Comedy Night: Marty Simpson
DESCRIPTION:LOVE FM presents Marty Simpson\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThu\, February 13\, 2025\n\n\nDoors: 6 pm / Show: 7 pm\n\n\n$25 (prices include all applicable fees and taxes )\n\nBUY TICKETS\n\n\nMarty Simpson is a happy husband\, father\, and comedian. He loves his wife and kids. He tells them before every athletic contest\, “Remember\, no matter what happens in the game tonight\, Daddy loves you\, win or tie.” Marty’s “love language” is sarcasm. He realizes that this one is not listed in Gary Chapman’s book\, “The Five Love Languages” but is confident it will be added to updated versions soon. Marty’s act is filled with actual events from his life. Everything he says is a true story based on something that either happened to him\, his kids\, or that he made up entirely. (Do we need to point out that this is sarcasm? Wow\, even the parantheticals have sarcasm.) \nAbout Love FM: \nLove FM uses music to worship God\, encourage believers\, and lead others to Christ. Love FM operates on WHGG AM along with two FM translators at 97.3 FM in the Tri-Cities and 100.3 in Kingsport. \nDoors open at 6 pm. Our Box Office opens 2 hours before showtime. For shows not already sold out\, tickets will be available at the door on the day of show for an additional cost of $5 (+tax and service fee). The new members of the Grand Ole Opry have been performing together for nearly 20 years and always give a memorable performance when they’re on The Paramount stage. \nJamie Dailey was formerly the lead vocalist and guitarist for Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver from 1999-2008. Darrin Vincent was formerly a musician with Ricky Skaggs’ band Kentucky Thunder\, and was also part of the famous bluegrass family group The Sally Mountain Show\, with his sister Rhonda Vincent of Rhonda Vincent & The Rage. In 2003\, the longtime friends and colleagues were asked to perform on a Koch Records recording titled Christmas Grass Vol.2\, 2004. Dailey & Vincent recorded a well-known Christmas song\, “Beautiful Star of Bethlehem\,” with just a guitar\, a mandolin and their two voices. Their stirring version of the song rose to No. 1 on the Prime Cuts of Bluegrass. The song’s success prompted the duo’s decision to perform together more often and perhaps even record again. Bluegrass music’s newest duo\, Dailey & Vincent\, was born.\n  \nDoors open at 6pm. Our Box Office opens 2 hours before showtime. The Musical\,” made famous on film featuring Albert Finney before coming to the stage. \nThis heartwarming and entertaining stage production has played to many Theatre Bristol sold-out houses over the years\, with Dickensian characters and the rousing “Thank You Very Much\,” “December the Twenty-Fifth\,” and “Father Christmas\,” the moving “Love While You Can\,” “A Better Day\,” “Happiness\,” and “A Beautiful Life\,” and humorous “I Hate People” and “The Minister’s Cat\,” and much more\, delighting everyone. \nDirecting the holiday favorite and cast of 40 from around the region is Theatre Bristol veteran\, Camille Gray\, who made her own theatre debut in the 2003 production and played Christmas Past in more recent versions. She has since gained directing credits for The Diary of Anne Frank\, Twelfth Night\, Julius Caesar\, and Godspell\, and choreography credits of Disney’s The Little Mermaid\, Oklahoma!\, Into the Woods\, and The Wizard of OZ. Camille is supported by the creative team of music director Robert Greene\, stage manager Nicole Intagliata\, scenic designer Luke Gray\, costume designer Adriel Slaughter\, along with Theatre Bristol crew\, and producer Samantha Gray.

And she did\, undeniably taking the industry and fans by storm with her wildly successful multi-platinum international debut “Did I Shave My Legs For This?” more two decades ago. Anchored by the dreamy super hit ” Strawberry Wine”\, Carter showcased her own blend of country and retro- rock sprinkled with the folksy singer/songwriter qualities that have garnered Deana Carter well- deserved respect and wild acclaim. \nWith EIGHT albums under her belt\, Carter explores many subjects commonly shared over a quaint dinner\, afternoon coffee or a sunny day hike with a good friend.\nHer last release of Southern Way of Life was her first dive as Label CEO on her own Little Nugget Records\, distributed by Sony/Red. As always\, Instinctively autobiographical\, the subject matter mimics the interesting ride of Carter’s own life – so far \nDoors open at 6:30 pm. Our Box Office opens 2 hours before showtime. The title of Todd Rundgren’s 1973 solo album aptly sums up the contributions of this multi-faceted artist to state-of-the-art music. As a songwriter\, video pioneer\, producer\, recording artist\, computer software developer\, conceptualist\, and interactive artist (re-designated TR- i)\, Rundgren has made a lasting impact on both the form and content of popular music. Born and raised in Philadelphia\, Rundgren began playing guitar as a teenager\, going on to found and front The Nazz\, the quintessential `60’s psychedelic group. In 1969\, he left the band to pursue a solo career. It was 1972’s seminal Something/Anything?\, on which he played all the instruments\, sang all the vocal parts\, and acted as his own producer\, that catapulted Todd into the superstar limelight\, prompting the press to unanimously dub him ‘Rock’s New Wunderkind’. It was followed by such landmark LPs as The Hermit of Mink Hollow and the above mentioned A Wizard\, A True Star\, as well as such hit singles as I Saw The Light\, Hello It’s Me\, Can We Still Be Friends\, and Bang The Drum. \nIn 2018 he toured North America with original Utopians Kasim Sulton and Willie Wilcox for the first time in 33 years. His long-awaited autobiography The Individualist\, was recently released; he’s currently in the second year of the world’s first hybrid concert/book tour highlighting music across his 50-plus-year career. In 2017 on successive weekends he was awarded honorary doctorates from both the Berklee School of Music and DePauw University.  In 1998 Todd debuted his new PatroNet technology which for the first time allowed fans of a musical artist to subscribe directly to the artist’s musical output via the Internet. This caps a long history of groundbreaking early multimedia “firsts”. \nThis show features two VIP packages \nVIP Soundcheck Package includes: \n\nOne premium reserved ticket located in the first 10 rows\nVIP early entry into the venue\nVIP access to Todd Rundgren’s preshow soundcheck\nPreshow mingle with Todd Rundgren\nAutographed set list\nSpecially designed Todd Rundgren long sleeve tour shirt\nCollectible tour poster\nCommemorative Todd Rundgren pin set\nExclusive Todd Rundgren tour merch item\nOfficial soundcheck laminate & lanyard\n\n  \nVIP Tour Package includes: \n\nOne premium reserved ticket\nSpecially designed Todd Rundgren long sleeve tour shirt\nCollectible tour poster\nCommemorative Todd Rundgren pin set\nExclusive Todd Rundgren tour merch item\nTodd Rundgren tour laminate & lanyard\n\n  \nDoors open at 6:30 pm.
