Kingsport: Santa’s Depot
Santa’s Depot will celebrate the arrival of Santa Train
on November 23rd in Downtown Kingsport
KINGSPORT, Tenn. – On Saturday, November 23rd, Santa’s Depot returns to Centennial Park (245 E. Main Street-Downtown Kingsport) from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. to kick off the holiday season.
Santa’s Depot, presented by CSX, Appalachian Power, Food City and Visit Kingsport, celebrates the arrival of Santa Claus to Kingsport on the 82nd running of the Santa Train.
Sponsored booths and activities include free hot chocolate, cookies, letters to Santa, Santa hats, stickers, candy canes and more! Children will receive an official Santa’s Depot activity passport when they arrive at the event to keep track of each booth they visit. All activities are free to children. (Due to expected crowd size, we cannot guarantee that each child will get to participate in every activity, but we can promise a magical day and a visit from Santa himself!)
Attendees will also enjoy taking selfies with Centennial Park’s Santa sculpture and numerous other holiday photo ops. Santa and his elves encourage attendees to share their pictures on social media using #SantasDepotKPT.
Santa reminds all attendees that he’ll be watching to see who stays on his “nice list.”
