Red, White and BOOM Independence Day Celebration
Red, White and BOOM Independence Day Celebration returns to Downtown Kingsport July 5; Night Ranger to headline free concert
KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Kingsport’s fourth-annual Red, White and BOOM Independence Day Celebration is back and better than ever in 2025. This year’s event will feature food trucks, fireworks, live music and more! The event will take place on Main Street in the Centennial Park area of Downtown Kingsport on Saturday, July 5th.
Activities kick off on Main Street at 5 p.m. More than a dozen food trucks will line the street and many downtown restaurants will have modified hours to stay open longer. Live music will begin at 5:30 p.m. Headlining this year’s free concert isNight Ranger. More artists will be announced soon. Kingsport’s Independence Day Fireworks will follow the performance, with an estimated start time of 9:45. The fireworks soundtrack with be livestreamed on Electric 94.9.
“We can’t wait to welcome people to downtown Kingsport for the fourth year of Red, White & BOOM,” say Emily Thompson, Visit Kingsport’s Director of Fun Fest and Special Events. “This event continues to grow each year, and we’re excited to make memories with our community.”
This year we are excited to welcome headliner, Night Ranger. Made up of Jack Blades, KellyKeagy, Brad Gillis, Eric Levy and Keri Kelli, Night Ranger has sold more than 17-million albums worldwide. Night Ranger is known for their arena rock sound and style, earning them widespread recognition from the music industry and fans alike. The band has a number of instantly recognized hits including: Sister Christian, (You Can Still) Rock in America, When You Close Your Eyes and Don’t Tell Me You Love Me. More entertainment will be announced soon.
