Appalachian Athletic Conference Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Visit Johnson City, Milligan University, Science Hill High School, and The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) have partnered once again to host the 2025 AAC Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The event will take place at Kermit Tipton Stadium April 17-19, bringing in over 500 athletes from 14 schools across the region, including local athletes from Milligan University, to compete for conference titles.

Milligan athletes to watch include Junior Luis Peralta, former Oregon Duck, who is the nation’s fastest 800m runner at this point in the NAIA season. Also to keep an eye on is Senior Bryn Woodall, who recently set a school record in the 1500m with a time of 3:43:22. Sophomore Ellen-Mary Kearney also broke a school record in the 1500m with a time of 4:21:46, earning her a spot in the NAIA Top 10 all-time rankings. Finally, Junior Alyssa Bearzi has received several All-American honors, with her most recent coming at the AAC Indoor Track and Field Championships after a 7th place finish in the women’s 5k.

The meet will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 17. Tickets will be available at the gate.
